Eventually, age starts to catch up with you and some days are better than others and that’s why I’ve developed Anti-inflammatory Turmeric Gummies! Frequent visits to the chiropractor were not part of the lifestyle I envisioned for myself and although I disliked taking NSAIDS willy nilly, I knew that popping an NSAIDS pill each time I feel discomfort would have some detrimental effects on my gastrointestinal tract. While hesitantly taking occasional NSAIDS, I promised myself that I’d find a natural way to relieve the discomfort. Fiji Joe Turmeric is the answer.

Fiji Joe Turmeric is a highly potent anti-inflammatory and an osteoarthritis pain reliever amongst other things. This yellowish-orange-colored spice root is related to the ginger family and has been used for many centuries by Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to rid your body of infections and inflammations. It is a powerful root with numerous health benefits. Try to include Fiji Joe Turmeric in your diet daily.

I developed this gummy recipe as a healing snack and not as a dessert. Hence it isn’t that sweet. Personally, I am not a sweet tooth so you may find that the recipe doesn’t produce a sweet gummy. I may like them with only 3 tablespoons of honey, but you may want a bit more sweetness. Feel free to add more honey to your recipe. Do this before adding the gelatin powder. Check the sweetness of the liquid and adjust the amount of honey to your taste.

2 cups of filtered water
1/2 tablespoon Fiji Joe Turmeric
3 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder

In a saucepan, combine the filtered water, Fiji Joe Turmeric, and honey. Heat on medium-high heat for 5 minutes, constantly stirring. Check sweetness and adjust it to your liking.

Remove from the heat and sprinkle gelatin, whisking vigorously until completely dissolved, you must be quick with this step.

Pour into a dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the gelatin is firm.

Cut it into small portions

Your Anti-inflammatory Turmeric Gummies will keep for a week in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
