Fiji Joe Turmeric Health Shot

Kick-off your health kick! The Fiji Joe Turmeric Health Shot is exactly what you need to get the vitamins, minerals, and everything in between you need to boost your immune system. This strong juice ticks all boxes, it packs so much flavor and is good for you.

Research has shown that adding black pepper to a recipe containing Fiji Joe Turmeric actually helps with the absorption of curcumin into your body. Turmeric contains an active ingredient called curcumin and it’s this magic that has amazing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Sadly, curcumin is poorly absorbed into the body but combining the piperine in black pepper with the curcumin in Fiji Joe Turmeric is a game changer! Adding piperine significantly increases the absorption of curcumin. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3535097/)

I try to use only the freshest, organic ingredients in my recipes. Tropical fruit and vegetables pair perfectly with Fiji Joe Turmeric and the ginger and black pepper give it a subtle kick. Good quality ingredients mean great quality food, maximum absorption reaps maximum health benefits. I prefer my shot a little on the chunky side so straight after blending, I pour this into a shot glass! Stay healthy, take a shot!
