This highly versatile Golden Turmeric Paste can be used to make numerous mouth-watering recipes. Use it as a curry paste or try my Fiji Joe Turmeric Chicken Curry, a staple in my household! The best part? It’s completely customizable! This recipe can be altered to your liking so if you’re not a fan of fresh ginger, feel free to reduce the amount added! I’ve always been a fan of Turmeric Lattes when we’re cozied up inside… but last winter, I started making a nice hot cuppa Fiji Joe Turmeric Golden Milk more and more – using this paste as its base. With the right blend of spice and a touch of sweetness, it’s safe to say that the Fiji Joe Turmeric Golden Milk is here to stay!

It’s perfect to drink while sitting by the fireplace. I’ll post the recipe, in detail, up soon but just to give you a fair idea, it involves Fiji Joe Turmeric Golden Paste, some hot milk of your choice, I find that full-fat milk gives it a nice, thick, velvety texture. Did somebody say winter wonderland? I prefer just a tinge of sweetness but if you’re a sweet tooth, add some honey into your blend, give it a good whisk and voila!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup water (filtered)
3 tablespoons fresh ginger
1/4 cup Fiji Joe Turmeric
3 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey
a pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS:
🥘 In a small saucepan, place the water, ginger, Fiji Joe Turmeric, coconut oil, honey, salt, cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg over medium-low heat. With a whisk, gently combine the ingredients and cook down until it forms a thick paste. Swap the whisk out for a spatula & keep turning the paste, you don’t want this to burn. Transfer this to a container with an airtight lid & let it cool down to room temperature before sealing it. Fiji Joe Turmeric Golden Paste can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
